America's Servicing Company changed my locks and emptied my pool and I was NOT in foreclosure!
Mar 9, 2008
Americas Servicing Company complaint by Kilroy212
I was 6 weeks behind on my payments and America's Servicing company changed my locks, put "DO NOT TRESPASS" stickers on my property and emptied the pool. Than tried to charge my $1800.00 to empty the pool!!!! They said they had every right because I was in default and my property was vacant. Yes that is true, however, the property has a big YELLOW for sale sign on the front yard and my neighbour was looking after the property ( with 2 Real Estate Agents ). My neighbour tried to stop them from doing this however the response was that " We are just doing what the bank wants us to do."

Now they sent the neighbour a key to the house removed the $1800.00 charge to drain the pool but will not admit to being wrong and will not clean up the mess that they caused........Meanwhile No one wants to buy my house (or look at it ) in a failing market thinking it is in foreclosure. They have cost me TWO months and possible sale! We will never know because NO ONE could get into the house for TWO months because they changed the locks and took the lockbox off the door. I feel this is unacceptable business pactice by any standard!!!!

I bought a property and was foreclosed by American Servicing Co. after sending them $12,000 to update my loan payments to make it current. I went on vacation for 5 months and let my son & his family stay in the house. When I came back they are already in the apartment because American Servicing Co. foreclosed it. Now it's listed at $229,900 under MLS #784849 and somebody had made an offer. I want this house back but I am not qualified anymore to get a loan. My credit was ruined. Please help.

America's Servicing Company is owned by Wells Fargo. You can find thousands of complaints about this company all over the Internet. I have read many of these complaints. I have searched in vain for any positive comments. To find out you are not alone go to www.ripoffreport.com and search with the company name. My suggestion is to complain to the Wells Fargo board at: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it The CEO is John Stumpf. The Chairman is *** Kovacevich. If enough people contact these people to tell them of the behavior of ASC they might do something to curb their outrageous tactics against borrowers.
