asc ???????? we can't let them get away with it
|
Apr 10, 2008 Americas Servicing Company complaint |
We were also sold to asc and we got behind on our payments and then they wanted us to pay 4,000 a month to catch up which was impossible if they would have spread it out over 4 or 5 months we so could have caught up and every person you talk to has a different story I have had our loan up for review for over 90 days to modify our loan...it makes me nervous that they will come back and tell me we don't qualify when they were not going to help us at all in the beginning. It was wells fargo that said we would qualify for a modification...only they told us to call back in two days...apparently they were wrong according to asc they are the ones that deal with the modifications. over 100 days later still no news...

Same deal with ASC, mailed, emailed, faxed, called, sent certified requested into for loan modification or workout program, only to be told on four or five separate occasions, that they never received it and when they did, it would take 45 days to process. Now I am 15 months behind. Only plan ever offered was $4,000 a month- cannot afford, bankruptcy, but I dropped case in January. Not sold at auction, but now do not know where I stand, they won'd even talk to me. Thanks

I am also a customer (not a lawyer) of America's Servicing Center (aka ASC) and have been reading on numerous message boards about the same situations over and over with customers of ASC. Such as Incorrect information given, misplaced payments, false information, lies and downright fraud.
Many other posters have mentioned an interest in a class action suit, so if you are a client of ASC and are having problems with them please email me (just once) about your situation and what ASC has done or failed to do. Please include the following information: First Initial and Last Name, City & State, When you got the loan with ASC or when they bought it, If you are behind in your payments how many months. And then your story. DO NOT SEND ME ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION such as account numbers or ss#!!!
I figure if I can get enough people together I can then (hopefully) find a lawyer to help with a class action suit. I am not guaranteeing anything and I personally cannot provide any type of assistance. I am not a lawyer, I am just in the same situation as many other people. We must come together to fight this company!!!

They are stealing my home as I write this. I have been waiting for approval on my modification for 90 days plus now, due to the fact that they claimed to be back logged, but they told me I should have no prob lem they were sure I qualified for modification. I had sent all the documentation they required 3 times then last Monday they contacted me and told me I needed to send it again because it was too old for the modification, so I left work and immediately redid the financial work up sheet and letter of hardship, theyy told me everything was fine then, then on Friday April 11, they called again stating they never received it and so I left to do it again, they gave me a # to send it to them directly which I did , then I called to verify it and was promptly informed it was too late they need 10 days to do modification and the house is being sold on April 17, I argued with many of the supervisors that this was their mistake I have documentation that I promptly did all that was requested and their reasons were they didnt have these documents nothing else. They admit someone dropped the ball on their end , but they still can't do anything about it because they dont have 10 days to process it. So on Thursday I will lose my house.
